The Central Coast Rugby League Referees Association (CCRLRA) is the exclusive supplier of referees to rugby league fixtures on the Central Coast, and has done so for the past 75 years. The Association has a proud history and a current membership of 73 referees, ranging from 13 to 81 years of age. We hold recruitment drives twice a year to bolster numbers, as well as keep people active and involved in the game of Rugby League
We supply referees to Central Coast junior competitions (Under 7’s through to Under 17’s) on a Saturday, Central Coast senior competitions (Under 19’s to First Grade) on a Sunday, and any mid-week NRL school games, carnivals or gala days. These competitions usually run from late February to late September. The local competition on the Central Coast has teams in Woy Woy, Umina, Kincumber, Erina, Gosford, St Edwards, The Entrance, Berkeley Vale, Ourimbah, Wyong, Toukley, Budgewoi, Northern Lakes, Blue Haven, Terrigal and Warnervale
The CCRLRA value our members not only on the field, but off it as well, with a wide variety of events to engage members. We hold a number of social events, as well as bi-monthly meetings at Diggers@the Entrance. Throughout the season we train every Wednesday at Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College - Bateau Bay Campus, in partnership with the Sydney Roosters
The CCRLRA has also amassed a large following on social media with our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages having over 1,000 likes and follows. Analytics from Instagram and Facebook show that our pages have well over 1,000 engagements a month, meaning a broad range of people are seeing and reacting to our content
